In the last years, the collaboration between celebrities (models, actresses, etc.) and well-known fashion companies has become a recurrent phenomenon. Whether due to the lack of ideas (we don’t think so), or because it is a marketing strategy, some of the most important designers have turned their attention to the trendier celebrities.
Most of these collaborations have been mediocre. However, the collaboration between Kate Moss and Topshop deserves a special mention.
As was usual during the last seasons, Kate is launching a new collection for Topshop again. This season, she has used the rock’n'roll-style as a strong inspiration for her designs and creations. We should not ignore Kate Moss likes the musicians and rock festivals! (In fact, she has dated Babyshambles front man Pete Doherty and The Kills guitarist Jamie Hince who is her current boyfriend).
In short, this time she has been inspired by the golden years of music: The 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.
